Library membership

One of the benefits offered to alumni is continued membership of The University of Auckland Library at a discounted rate.

Alumni and Society members can now receive a 30 percent discount off the normal membership.  Borrowing is normally for Auckland based alumni only. For alumni, proof of graduation is required, for Society members, your membership card.

There are three types of membership;

• full membership with borrowing and electronic access;
• borrowing only;
• electronic access only.

Electronic access will give access to most Library databases from Library workstations, and to a select number of databases from the home or office.

Membership fees

The annual full membership cost for alumni and Society members is $367.50 pa (or $183.75 for 6 months). Membership costs for borrowing only or electronic access only are considerably less.
