Dr Penelope Brook Cowen - BA, MA

Penelope has spent many years advising Third World countries on reforming the supply of water, sanitation and electricity facilities.

After her education at Auckland Girls' Grammar School, where she was head prefect and dux, Penelope studied at Auckland. From The University of Auckland she went on to Oxford to gain a doctorate in economics.

Penelope received a Distinguished Alumni Award in 1998.
