John Barton - BSc, MSc (Hons), PhD, BHB, MBChB, DipObst

John Barton graduated from The University of Auckland several times between 1967 and 1983. In Chemistry, he graduated with a BSc in 1967, an MSc (Hons) in 1969, and a PhD in 1973; he also obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1980, and a Diploma in Obstetrics in 1983.

During the eighties he worked as a general practitioner in Taihape, moving to Huntly in the 90s. John moved to Melbourne in 1997.

In 2000 John became an accredited psychodramatist. He is now a self-employed psychotherapist doing one-on-one and group work. Most of his group work these days is supervision of other clinicians and he also teaches psychotherapy.

When John isn't working he likes to spend his time travelling.
